Journey II
Drifting in ebon night
lying at the final fringe
of the universe...
Stars, galaxies, naught but dimly
feebly glowing dust
suspended so far away,
so far, far away...
Here, are no stars
to warm night eternal;
Here, are no planets
to provide sunrise, sunset
for eyes that seek beauty,
for a soul hungering for love...
Here, is naught but void
and the haunting winds
blowing out of the cold, cold depths;
the starless depths lying ahead...

I agree, this is a wonderful sequel. To me, the last staza exemeplifies the lonliness and sadness of life.
