The Real World??
I feel like crawling into a dark hole A place to get away from this world Sometimes it just feels like I have no where to go From the stress that eats me up inside Deep inside my soul feels like crying, asking are you going to let me die?
Everything crashing all around Beaten to the ground, money all around I can’t stand this sound Someone rescue me from these horrific sounds Help me fight, and don’t let me be knocked down Someone come to my rescue and save me
Someone come and show me the way Out of this place, they call the real world Take me away even just for one day And let me know everything will be ok Give me the confidence that everything will come together and finally set me free from the pain of this everyday world

I really like this poem as it describes the harshness of the everyday. The chronic beating down of one's emotional defences by the onslaught of everyday life. It is very true to life. I think it is a very good poem. Tania
