I smiled, but I shouldn’t have... My smile gave you hope for something That was never there to start with.
I trusted, but it was wrong... I should’ve listened to my heart When it told me to run while I still could.
I believed and it was a mistake, For it gave me hope for what wasn’t there. Now, I refuse to do it all again...
