In my worst nightmare
I'm surrounded by mirrors
and they mock me,
force me to see my imperfections.
A mirror for every imperfection,
a house of mirrors.
I cringe and try to hide.
There is no relief, no corner to hide in.
Everywhere I turn,
one more thing I hate
shows itself to me.
Until I throw myself to the floor
and bury my head in my arms.
Tears course down my cheeks
and i want to rip myself apart,
want to tear everything I hate out.
I want to disappear into nothingness
because my nightmare ensnares me.
I'm living my nightmare
because the mirrors are in my head,
and i can't believe that I'm worth anything
So, I fade into nothing.
