a cold chill comes over me
as I sit and recall
not understand time
or why this is
where did that person go
I thought I really knew
once such warmth was here
once I understood
today seems less of something
just no finger lands on what
this feeling I try to hide
sneaks beyond my words still
where a love once seemed
so strong and clear
hate simmers in the dark
it's a forgien feeling
for me to understand
I doubt I have known
this thing before
how is it so easy
to wish such harm
how is it I know
this is something so new
so sad this thing is
you don't even know
you gave me something new
a feeling so strange
I would finally laugh
at someone else's pain
satisfied to know
you got your reward

I really liked this piece alot...especially the ending of it

I think I am always amazed when people like a work of mine that I think won't be liked. The feling with this work is so very new to me and I was not sure it would come accross correctly. Hate leaves an awful taste in my mind if that makes sense. I would love never to feel that one again. Thank you for your comments.
