And I thought I made you smile too,
So what happened?
I used to think of you all the time
And you said you thought about me,
But now you only cross my mind once in a while.
I’ve picked up the phone to call you,
Like I used to do,
But I forgot your number.
My heart was open for you, so you entered,
Then you left, turning my heart inside out.
We promised we’d always care,
And that we’d always be here.
What happened to that promise?
