I gave you my world
all the time
the patience and caring
you never had

I gave you the time
where none would even try
opened doors that felt so heavy
showed people
who you could really be

The time invested to show
just that someone really cared
to help you understand
you truely were worth the time

now here I sit
wiping the spit from my face
not understanding just why
you took and you took
only to throw your hate in my face
for reasons that could not be understood

you rip the soul from this chest
dancing on it with glee
not caring who can see

time will give back to you
all the pleasure you desrve
but the pain you left behind
will still kill me slowly

the only importance to you
is hiding in yourself
not caring who you destroy

understand this old friend
you won more then you know
you ended a caring soul
you killed what so many loved

you destroyed what truely was
a friend who gave it all
