The room is filled with silence
Now that we’re stuck in this war of pride
Daring the other to lose this fight
Not caring of what emotions we destroy inside

I’ve tried to utter words to you
And end this foolish quarrel
But my pride won’t allow me
I guess I’ll just leave it to time to tell

You said you’ll drive me insane
And speak no words to me
For a whole excruciating week
And I must admit, I’m going crazy

It’s almost like I’m ready to burst
With this insanity in me that only seems to grow
I want to talk to you, but again, my pride’s in the way
But of course, that’s something that you already know

You fight the urge to open your mouth as well
Because you want me to be the first to speak
But then I just defy you with my eyes
Trying to prove to you that I’m not that weak

So if you’re not willing to say the first words
And I’m sure not willing to compromise
Because whatever taunting you do
I’ll just defy you with my eyes

So then I ask of you will our love end this way?
Will my world again be void of your existence?
Will my name be erased in your heart?
Will our love end in silence?
