His parents screamed
and fought each night,
leaving him with the pain
of every one of their fights.
He dreaded morning
where he would wake,
amd his parents would scream
making the windows shake.
He had no friends at school
they all though he was a freak,
a loser, a punk
a stoner, a geek.
He lived his life in solitude
isolated in his home.
besides his parents yelling
he was all alone.
All his anger
was bottled inside.
because of all the pain
he often cried.
One day he took a razor
and went to the bathroom.
and started to cut his pain away
from his imminent doom.
His parents came in screaming
noticed what he had done,
screamed at him for his stupidiy
hated that he was their son.
A few days passed
his parents yelled,
his life was horrible
and his pain still held.
So he went to go kill himself
made his way to the bathroom,
his parents found him there
and sent him to his room.
Little did they know
he knew that's what they'd do,
they found him dead the next day
and realized he wasnt safe in his room.
His funeral went by slowly
there wasnt a single sound,
not even the sobs of crying
echoed the room around.
But as his classmates stood
for a final goodbye,
one girl screamed with anger
because he had to die.
She went up to the podium
shaking from the tears,
yelling to everyone
his greatest hopes and fears.
She then looked at his parents
and cursed them both to die,
If they had been better parents
he'd still be alive.
She pointed out his lesson
that everyone must learn,
no matter where you are
you can always self harm.
One more glance at the casket
she looked around the room,
said it didnt matter where he was
because he obviously wasnt safe in his room.
A few weeks passed
his memory faded,
but one girl was left
broken and jaded.
The pricipal came on
that same girl was dead,
because in the corner of her room
she shot herself in the head.
One last final plea
on that horrible day,
she wouldnt let him die alone
and ended her life today.
Along side her body
she left a note to all,
telling how she loved him
and no one is safe after all....
