She walks through the night shivering from the cold, so shoes on her feet her dress torn and old.
She looks into windows with families all around, while they laugh and cheer she doesnt make a sound.
Christmas trees are lighted as snow starts to drift down, she looks up at the ornaments as they spiral round and round.
She lays down in the needles finding warmth within the snow, her father left, her mother died but no one will ever know.
A news bulletin flashed the body of a girl, who froze to death last night and left this cold cruel world.
The day before, when you saw that girl shivering in the snow, you should have taken the time to care what you could have done, you'll never know.

Tragic, painful and sadly true. Life is wilting away, dimming for children, abandoned, abused, lost, orphaned... We live in a cruel world. Beautifully tragic, brokensoul, this really sends silence and deep intensity through the body... Breathtaking piece.
