I watched as they placed you in the ground
the other day a lifetime of memories clouded up my mind
I remembered all the times we said we wanted to yet never opened the door
I remember when we walked through the woods talking of the stars and what lay beyond
all those nights of all the words all the dreams you never lived
the touching of our souls made clearer by the dreams we both told
though I told you many times my friend I loved you more then those words could mean
what was we in all the life shared more then fate allowed
as I stood there thinking of our lives I smiled through the tears
somewhere deep inside of me there is a knowing thought
somewhere in time we shall meet again touch to cause the smiles there may never be another to touch the places you found so easy I wish I believed there could
my world feels like an ocean now me a peice of driftwood
today I want so very much to touch a soul from within yet the silence of this graveyard weakens my knees completely

You know, I find it odd that so few that read this on the other spot I posted it, had even a clue what it was about. We all loose people that are special at times, this lady was one in a billion..
I thank you for your words and I am glad you enjoyed it
