As I sit here on my porch Listening to the crickets chirp And admiring the deep blues and grays Of late evening sunset I wonder:
How does one say, “Goodbye”?
That word in itself Does not describe The pain one must be feeling Sadness, anguish, Or any other emotion.
It is not even honest.
For partings of such are never pleasant. “Good,” is a word far too glorified.
Yet nobody likes To leave on a sad note.
So why does one choose To murder themselves?
Death cannot be sugar coated, So why do we try?
One could say, “I love you,” Or, “our love will never die,” But even that is not Even half way true. For if one really loves another They would stick out Such horrible times For the sake of the other If not for themselves.
So why leave a letter? To comfort grieving souls? A mere letter hardly does justice To the pain of losing Someone you love.
So, What can one honestly write In a suicide letter?

I never got that either, when I thought about suicide, I always thought about the point in a suicide letter too.
Eh, well anyway, love the questions and message through this. I very much enjoy all of this, especially the part in dealing with the word, "Goodbye". Very true...
Nicely done.
