On you, it’s unsuspecting prey.

It comes seeping through the night
Like a misty, black fog
It covers everything it passes

But it already has.

i was really enjoying this piece the entire way through...but i fell in love with it at the end...i love the last two lines....i love the chill that went up my back that the words "but it already has" oooh....this was wonderful!
