I know this may not seem like a poem about tragedy and death, but it is. I wrote this for my horse, my Kulali. My Mountain Wind.
Mountain Wind
grasses stir beneath her passing snowgums bend before her roaming high over the mountains cattle shift seeking sparse shelter and the snowflurries dance in the sky to meet her as the mountain wind returns home

i like this piece a lot, and no it doesnt' seem tragic, but the beauty of it is that you can celebrate Kulali's death by remember her life...i've never had a horse before so i'm not sure how the bonds there work..but this is a beautiful piece...great job!
