to face you in my darkest hour
my facade cracking
fanning through my entire self
first invisible
now for everyone to see
i feel so ashamed
my pain made you feel alive
gobbling up every word i
managed to utter
between tears
rape
my biggest fear
now forever etched
my past, present and future
justice didn't fail me
my sanctuary
