note: hmm... this is about death... which surprisingly isnt sadistic in nature or terrifying to some extent... just melancholic i guess. I was listening to evanescence!!! my immortal rocks. lol
A bouquet of lilacs in my hand
'they've always been your favorite'
I smile...
as I place them on top of your grave
I'm singing our song...
our song that we used to sing together
during the times we felt silly,
times that we were down
I wish you were still here...
at nights, I dream of you
and wish that everything in my dream would come true
but it will never happen...
so I just wish that wherever you are, heaven or hell,
my voice will reach your ears
reach your heart, reach your soul
and for one moment, we'll be one again
singing our song... together...
in one moment I hope that never ends...
but then again, that wish will never become reality... oh no.
because you're gone... you're gone...
because the only voice singing our song is my own...
'even if I know that I can never share a moment with you for just one last time, why do I still wish for my dreams to come true?'
... is it because I want it to come true even if I know it won't?
...because I love you so much I can't let go?
