i didnt know where to post this poem....so i thought i would just post it here since the issue does relate to death. i just want to warn everyone it is a poem about abortion....and i hope i dont offend anyone. obviously, by this poem, i am against abortion for the most part. there are certain times i feel it is okay...i do have friends, however, that have had them...so i dont want ppl to go off telling me i dont know crap, blablabla...so just a lil introduction!
never once did you laugh with them
never once did you hear their cries
never once did you see their smile
never once did you look in their eyes
never once did you say "i love you"
never once did you hold them tight
never once did you let them need you
never once did you make everything alright
never once did they laugh so hard..so hard that they cried
never once did they get the chance to even say goodbye
never once did they speak a word, for they never got the chance
never once did they see the world, not even a tiny glance
never once did they walk, not even a first step
never once did they witness a beautiful sunset
never once did they blow out the candles on their birthday cake
never once did they get all life left for them to take
never once did this precious girl get to fall in love
never once did this young boy get to hold his angel from above
never once did the world get to witness what they had to give
never once did they even get the chance to live
never once was she daddy's little girl
never once did he own his mommy's world
never once did their feelings get to show
never once...all because their mommy said so
