I shed a single tear But it doesn't bring you here,
I've screamed a thousand words But not one seemed to be heard,
Standing here by our home Shaking by your tombstone,
The world passes on and continues onward But I cannot seem to move forward,
Not without you, my love, my darling I can't say GoodBye, it feels so apalling,
Dying so young, it was not at all fair I cry out falling in lonely despair,
Children play and people walk by Ignoring how long, how loud I cry,
The tears have fallen and touched your grave Standing here by your cold resting place,
I shall forget you not anytime soon Standing near your cold silent tomb.

The sadness of this tale is so well presented that I almost wept as I read it...excellent work!

i liked how you were able to convey feelings of sorrow in this piece. and i agree, it is very sad and very tragic. It's beautiful though. i liked stanzas 6 and 7 the most.
