My friends please stay here beside me Lord please don’t take them away Can’t you teach me that life is fragile? I some duller less painful way
Death should be saved for the elders The ones whose paths have been run Why does cancer trouble children? What great things they could have done?
Let me keep my friends beside me Why lord must you take them away Though I didn’t understand your value You could have stayed and showed me the way
On the eve I sit here and remember Lives more worthy then mine Were you trying to teach me something? Is this real some kind of sign?
I need my friends beside me Lord please let them stay Instead of taking them to dwell among angles As I have to watch them drift away
Why while the good are dead and buried Do I still tread this earth? The lives were gold and silver Next to them mines of little worth
Lord do not take my friends please I can ask but one last time Please people learn you lesson I keep failing to learn mine
Treat each day with gladness Like it is the last you’ll see And tell your friends you love them You’ll have less to regret then me
- For all the young people who have fallen to cancer before they reached 18. Especially for the ones who attended Special days camp and befriended me before they died. For Devail, Albert, Sara, Anders, and all the others who have been my friends.
Every one please take a step back and take time to value your relation ships with people realize life is fragile and please never, never take it for granted.

I verymuch enjoyed this. I do look at my relationships and see how fraigle and precious things like that are. I cherish my friends deeply. There was only one thing I found wrong in there and that is the spelling of 'angel' in this line: "Instead of taking them to dwell among angles" where the word angles is, it should read "angels" other than that I found it most enjoyable! Nice work.
