where was it written the lonely would understand when the stars that shine so clear would themselves be alone who was it that said there is always something more around the next corner on the other side yet still the silent shadows tell of something there in the smallest part of such a tender rose the perfume of life is sweet is there yet enough light within to see one sitting there and was it when as children we played at hide and seek then we learned the little folk did not have a pot of gold there came a time to understand to unlearn so many truths of life

This is about life and acceptance that fairytales do not always come true. (This is my interpretation of it...excellent poem.) Butterfly

I thank you for your comments on both poems *S* I do not know about soul mates, they are something I believe in yet, have to wonder. I have been lucky in an extrodinary way and maybe I have grown spoiled by it. I have been very well understood by more then one in my life. Perhaps shall be again, one can only hope. I do have to sort of disagree though. Ferrytales do come true, but they take hard work and believing in someone.
