Sort of lost contact
With the truth
My temporary friend
It’s funny when so-called
Loyalty just breaks
In two.
It was not really true
In the style of substance
And the feelings
I have had
Deadened
To something
Less colourful
Walking away
Without a second glance
Swimming up stream
Away….
From you.
It feels good not
Being near
You.
