over all the years
with all the miles
the travels of life
the pains and joys
the smiles
the tears

some things seldom change
as I sit remembering those feelings
that engulfed us
telling us true
there was more then we understood

where a voice
could tell us forever was real
now sitting here I realise an old truth
I still see your face

movement in life
is sometimes so slow
until we understand what is
time has changed us
but one time is now closer
I wonder if you fear it

Hm. Very thought-provoking.
There's something about it that I
cannot place at the moment, yet
the wording and flow here, paints
an intriguing portrait in my mind,
and also consumes... Gets me thinking.
As always it was a captivating read.
