first off sorry to offend anyone with this poem... its sort of religous based... dont really know why... just came out that way... sorry to anyone offended
This place fades away Pictures burn and turn to ash Your eyes say exactly what they need to say Stuck in a whirlwind it happened so fast
False ideas in a dramatized dream Where God abandoned his children A world where nothing is what it seems Where we pay for our fathers sins
Turn love into hate An Idealistic sadistic fate Where man becomes Beast And sit at Christs last feast
To destroy the world for the better good Deep inside we all know we should Father Father save me from this hell Mother Mother God has fell
Help reclaim the world for you False deity and we may be through Cure for nothing, tool for pain The question at hand is "what is your name"

Frankly speaking, I was raising an eyebrow with your warning and had to read. You see, I am religeous and follow a very old faith, let's say Christianity before christ was born is my faith. Reading your poem here is far from offensive to me. In fact it relates very well towards the book of Revelation in the Bible. It pretty much puts the whole book into one poem, which I think is a very awsome thing. The only critisim I have for it is the rhyming should be left out in parts, it does not seem to work that well. But the meaning sure does.
That is a question anyone who truely wants to know God, must ask at one point or another. because in the original Bibles, God's true name is never revealed at all. All God calls himself is "I Am".
You sparked a real spark in me with this writing, extreamly well done!

I must say this is interesting. The poetry is mostly very good. Some of this is rather unclear as to what you meant, but I can't say that I agree with your points, but it would be a dull world if we all did. I enjoyed the piece, and will agree and both disagree with it's content.

The bible to me translates his name very clearly. Jesus Christ is his name. His name "Jehova" as the angel proclaimed means, "God With Us" a spiritual being robed in flesh to offer up the greatest sacrifice for all of creation. I feel as if this poem could very well offend many people as it had some major effective versus towards my own faith. God is all there was and all there ever will be. His is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. Without him there is nothing therefore, he is unable to fall or fail. He is almighty and all knowing. He cannot lose at anything and would never destroy anything for his own well being. For he said, "I came not to destroy the world but, that the world through me might be saved!"

All true. Jesus Christ is God. Also known as Jehovah, among other names. He holds three titles, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All one man---Jesus Christ. He came to this world to save it's people, not to damn them. Those who choose to turn Him away, will be damned with this world. Simple as that. If used properly, God can be the greatest physician you'll ever find, but if used improperly, He can indeed cause you pain. Only to teach you, and to warn you, that your soul is in danger. I know nothing of God ever abandoning His children. I have heard of his "children" abandoning Him, but that's all. God only leaves behind those who choose to be left behind. Take this not to be offensive as we all share diverse religious views, this so happens to be mine. The poem is very well written I must say, good artwork. God bless.

i like this poem better then the revised one, but the revised one is still good, dont be hesitant on posting your views, if they end up too controversial to you, post it in the uncensored area...that being said, since everyone is talking religion here, here i go...
I like this poem becuase it says: "mother mother god has fell" well i agree with it, i dont believe that god is in control, that anyone is, i cant remember who said it, but "god is dead", is there any proof he isnt dead? and if he is alive, then i have to assume that the world in the state it is, is going through the end times *shrugs*, either way i dont really care...

It doesn't seem to denounce Him as it does express confusion.
It was my understanding that His hame was mentioned but the closest thing we could get to it was Jehova. But didn't it read like "JHVO" or something like that?
