Does time ever truely erase the pain the sorrows that go with the lives we leave behind
the dreams we left somewhere long remembered those people we cherished
now just a memory thought of as rain gently falls over the quiet mornings
to wonder if a smile should creep accross our face or just a small tear of regret
the thoughts no longer tear at our souls yet they simply gain a lasting ache
we remember the ones left behind in our hurry to overlook what we saw

i love this. it's perfect. the feeling. the questiong. the truth about it. that feeling never really goes away. time just dulls the pain down from a sharp stab to a constant aching.

I too can relate to this piece. It's structure is very nice and I enjoyed it very much. I would give this one an A in Poetry Pieces......
