friends that say they care yet walk away when the world seems dark they show thier colors when faced with pain not showing a care of where the hurts lay cold and caluss the lie of who they are shown in hidden giggles behind someones back like a knife stuck through the heart no care for anything but themselves where did the great hearts go the ones who believed in people the ones who would hold you when tears fell where are the friends we said we were when we were young and true did we all grow and learn that cold is what it takes to live did we all fail to understand the things we were taught did we all turn out so much like all those before us the ones we said we would never be the heartless cold souls that walk this life heading to rest in pergatory

I once wrote a poem many years ago entitled "Friends for a Rainy Day".
Rainy days seem to make people walk away from you and then you really find out who your true friends really are. I have had a problem like that myself before when good friends of mine were questioned when I went through a rough time. My mother used to always say that they were my friends as long as I had what they wanted and when I lost it I would lose them. I guess in a really sad way, that's extremely true. Great write by the way...I was just babbeling on there...
Good job, TJ
