Gentle hands that once held him lovingly
Treated him right and a face that smiled proudly.
Gentle hands became cold slaps to the face
Words cold and vicious to keep him in place.
Love once apparent, shown and whispered
If nothing was left, they still had one another.
But she spent his money and the love only a lie
While he loved her, and hid his pain and cries.
Those beautiful bright eyes that made everything right,
Her soft touch and her body, she was quite the sight.
But he loved who she was, or who she used to be
Becuase that woman used to have inner beauty.
She used him and slept around without him knowing
Laughing at how pathetic that man was growing.
And he proposed to her and they made wedding plans
Her plan was working and they invited friends.
At the alter she said with a smile, I do
And all turned to the groom and she did too,
And with a smile he looked up and shook his head
And he explained how his life was full of dread.
She was arrested by two officers who were there
Taken away in a lovely gown, while people stared.
Many asked how was she able to be arrested
And he told them her plan which was now busted.
That conniving woman hoped to marry him for money
Kill him and leave his accounts empty.
She had done so before to a man now dead
Knowing this made him both sad and upset.
As she and the police drove away
He looked down not knowing what to think or say.
She cared not at all, and justice would come,
But his heart was broken and the damage done.
