Peace
Calm waves are lapping the sandy shore the clouds sit dormant in the sky the muggy day makes the water inviting sun shines keeping sorrows at bay
the easies way to forget your problems is to sit and reflect in a quiet surrounding just bundle them up and let the water carry them away
Green grass tickles my legs as I sit in the shade a light breeze makes the heat more bearable Peace descends and carries my worries away peaceful solitude brings rest to my wandering soul

at first i was not able to visualize this tranquil place, but i read it a few times over and i began feeling the soft breezes tugging at me with the cool sand between my toes. very serene. i feel cleansed.

Mmmm...I like the peace. My house has a lake near it so that's pretty cool. I don't think I could ever feel completely at peace...but it's close. nice poem

Kristine, Indeed this draws the reader in to its settings, and that to me, takes a great writer.Excellent, keep writing! ;DJoe
