In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

E=MC Squared...
...for the military
In a cool crystalline night
a child squeals with delight
as a meteor blazes its way to earth--
Suddenly--
It is Noon.
© T. GhostWolf Davidson, April 24, 1974
Footnote: Over the years, I've seen parents who've shared a moment of delight of watching a meteor blaze across the night sky - and it is indeed one of delight, for both the child and the parent...
In April of 1974, I watched a PBS documentary on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and subsequent nuclear weapons development.
Thus the poem, thus the dedication.
The meteor is an incoming nuclear missile.
