Trapped

 

My mind seeks the voids of interstellar space

to become One and companion with 

   the scintillating jeweled galaxies

   gracefully pirouetting in ebon night

      far beyond the reach of greedy, gregarious man...

But it is bound by the iron bonds of mankind's

willful ignorance of the universe, and by his

blind savagery, ephemeral though it may be--

   it has trapped the creative among us...
