In a dream was seen, great volume of water, overflowing streets that seemed to drown all that were around. Then suddenly appeared to be, clouds which numbered three. When clouds were seen arose a shout, that resonated all about, we will not drown,we'll live in peace. With one more week this will be. One week passed and wouldn't you know, peace was sought and was not so. So we raise to the sky, swords to pluck out each others eyes. End of strife will not be seen, without the Lord, the Prince of Peace.

But it is still one of them. I would say that it would have seemed somewhat cleche, if it weren't for your imaginative use of of structuring your words and rhyme, although at times it seemed a little forced. Generally well written.

i enjoyed this..and no, violence isn't the answer, but unfortunately the world doesn't seem inclined to stop anytime soon

What I am doing with this poem is stating my belief that humans will never find the way to peace.Only by divine intervention will there ever be peace on earth. What has violence ever solved?Well,it got rid of the Nazis, has removed evil dictators,it seems to have busted up Al Qaeda pretty good ,etc.....
