You don't need your shallow dreams For nothing in life is what it seems I have tried so hard to crack this code To unlock the gifts that I behold It's on my mind and it's in my heart Somethings just tend to fall apart While the world continues to spin around Your foolish dreams will sink and drown Blind faith is different from false belief The weight of your soul seeks relief And worries my friend, they weigh a ton And will only restrict you in the long run The method of theory is sometimes true But it all evolves around the things we do So interpret the words and reveal the signs And understand the meaning of this cryptic rhyme

You're right that everything in life is a double entendre but dreams are something that drive life and, at times, give hope.

If they are valid and realistic dreams....that's true. But fake and shallow dreams, not as much so.

so many people have unrealistic dreams and the realistic ones even seem to bite us in the long run...i really enjoyed this poem...especially these two lines: i love it! great job!

Dreams give people drive, goals, and ambition. However, so many times those dremas reach beyond our grasp and we hurt ourselves trying to reach them. This was a great write. Good job,
