This really has a meaning...but I just can't think of it.. Take it as you will. Maybe it will speak to somebody?
Walking round for years uncertain. Blinded from true lives as if they're curtained. Why ohh why does no one ever die. Through death comes new life but life never ends.
No one ever dies. I guess thats how it is in the Days Of Our Lives. Nobody is completely honest anymore. Women are wicked. Men walk out the door. She's sleeping with him. He's sleeping with her. Who is the daddy? Nobody is sure.
Somebody is missing.Gone for a while. Always pronounced . Acceptance through denial. Nobody has faces covered with smiles.Everyones shouting. Faces covered with sighs. I guess thats how it is in the Days Of Our Lives.
Lives are crushed with one powerful hand. Lives are determined as glass and some sand. Is there a truth or is everything a lie. I guess that how it is in the Days Of Our Lives............................................"Like sand through the hourglass. These are the Days Of Our Lives."

i really like this piece...it is so true..nobody is really content anymore..unfortunately unless something drastic happens the world is just going to spiral further into that rhythm of self-destruction great job!

Soap operas, yuck. Anyway, I love the first stanza. It describes almost every soap opera out there.

I have never been one to watch soaps (my life is hectic enough without the added drama-lol) but I really enjoyed this work...you were able to expose the superficial and unrealisticness of daytime drama but in a flattering light...which is not easy...excellent!
