Life and Love
Life-- sitting here alone once again Life-- never knowing what to say, or when Life-- always waiting for that one chance Life-- it's passing you by with no second glance
Life is the epitome of love to love you must live but to live you must love
so, question? what is love if it can't exist with out life
and... what is life if it can't exist with out love
Love-- knowing someone will be there Love-- having someone who will always care Love-- a shoulder upon which to cry Love-- could it be an inconceivable lie
love and life two scary emotions tangled in a web of dreams
so, question? is life just a dream of having a true love
or... is love just a dream by which we live

i really enjoyed this...i tend to question life and it's connection with love and dreams. It made me feel like there was a reasoning for questioning such, and I'm not the only one.

Whew, I almost drowned in the depth but I managed to survive. Anyway, very nice and definitely worth thinking about.

Good questions, BloodRedTears, and a very well done expression of those questions and the discomfort they raise... I've no answers, yet sense somehow that life - and love - are not only intertwined intimately as you've expressed, but encompass far more than either one apart or alone...
I cannot help but ponder the incredible poetry I've read here - and elsewhere - that expresses the beauty of a child's smile, or a spectacular storm, or the peaceful quietness of a forest...
Somehow, there has to be more than just the one, or the other, or the sum of the two...
Heh (wry smile); you've got me to thinking here, pondering the questions - and more...
