What words turely mean when you feel it:
Only three hours
Of sleep,
Black circles
Under burning
Eyes
Staring sweetly
At the smell
Of chocolate scented
Candle wax,
As my fingers play
With its limber shape and form.
Molding you
Into a piece
Of red.
From amber glazed flames
Dancing to the sound
Of a random song
Blasting through
The speakers
Of my heart
As the static screeches to the surface
Losing ground
The distance running away
From me.
A black and white
Photograph
Of a sad face
That catches on fire
When you kiss it
With bloody lipstick.
Put a Band-Aid on it
It will be all better
As we rub off
All the make-up,
Shimmering eye shadow
And wicked black mascara
That perfectly conceals
The irony truth
Worn on words
That we’re all afraid
To wear
Inside out
And backwards.. .
