When I fall, I fall hard.

In the desert I roam The cold biting my flesh
I try to find my way In the dunes of destiny
I stumble and fall On the imaginary path of sand
Looking for you Longing for us
A gaze at the carpet of stars in the heavens My skin tingles
A glimpse at the white moon My soul desires
A desert rose I pick My body trembles
The desert sand I caress My love ignites I see you in the beauty of the skies I dream of your golden skin when I touch the petals and the sands

This is actually a really interesting poem. I like the idea behind it, the whole theme of being lost in a desert. The only thing I would suggest would be to try using more imagery to make your idea stronger. Great job.
