Teardrops fall one by one
each tells a story of pain.
You do not know what to do
your lover has left you again.

You need someone you can count on
to be there when you call.
A man who will open his heart to you
who will catch you when you fall.

You need a true love
there when you need him.
True love, never wants to be free.
Go if you will, console when you’re hurt
all you need is a true love.

You sit at home all alone
tearstained satin by the phone.
Dreaming of the day
someone will truly care.

There is a love for every girl
but it it’s as rare as a perfect pearl
and when it’s found it
should be cherished for all eternity.

What you need is a true love.

Amber I started writing at like 10 or 11 and at 19 had a good idea of what was needed for a Lady to feel complete.
