So sweet and beautiful like a rose So powerful when she strikes a pose Could something so grand lead to my demise Is this trouble dressed to kill in a disguise My eyes are blind and my heart is insane I now realize that I am doomed for pain I can't think straight, or even with the right head Sooner or later I'm going to end up dead 'Cause this love is like a drug that seeps into your veins And eats away at your insides, leaving no remains These females are fatal and dangerous to the heart They'll chew you up and spit you out all broken apart And there's no way to fight this thing called love It's like a contagious plague that killls all of us She'll give you "the look" and turn up the heat Then break your heart and knock you off your feet It's all a big game, but in the end there's sudden death And in all reality, this love is just a screwed up mess

Trust me, it's a two-way street. Oh, I love the last line, especially, as we near Valentine's Day.

interesting, very good though..love can tear us apart but you always have to remember the positive things as well, i agree it's a two-way street. nice job

I agree on liking the Bluntness of the poem, very straight forward, even if the matter at hand is rarely seen to be. Nicely done.
