I'm afraid to swim should I wait for the fish to wander off to shore? or should I take a chance and risk my life?
if I drown, who will be there to rescue me?
should I take a plunge in the purple sea and find my way through its murky depths even if my knowledge is blind?
or should I stay here at land and await a fish to somehow swim to me and not take the risk at all?
but then I won't be living at all wondering my whole life if someone could've rescued me if ever I drowned if ever I took the chance... to swim...
and now I wander through the purple sea and find that fish, that someone that will save me when I drown...
note-I was talking about this with a friend. surprisingly, it inspired me to make a poem about it. All in metaphors. simplier terms: she's afraid to fall in love because she might just end up falling head first without no one to catch her fall but can't live her life knowing that she's passed up a chance to find someone she can love who can love her in return. so she sets off to find him rather than waiting for him to find her. Damn, I hope they find eachother. lol...
