Miles have always been what have kept us apart
But never once did these miles affect the distance of our hearts
And I believed the distance is what made us so strong
But has it been a friend or an enemy all along
Holding on is getting harder every day
Especially knowing things may never go my way
And now I’m left to ponder what is the right thing to do
My heart remains bias, for it knows I’m still in love with you
Tossing and turning is how I spend my nights
Why is it I must cling on so tight
Should I trust my heart and listen to what it says
Am I strong enough to let go and obey my head
Sometimes love just isn’t enough
And I need so much more than love
