Me And The Shadows Of The Night

(This is true and I want to share it with all of you hope you like it Moondust.)

I saw the perfect moon tonight that is a perfect grayish-- blue
I love watching the stars peek out watch them glistening above the tree tops
I can never get enough of the night sky and the power it holds
And the secrets that are yet to be told
The night sky I love nature and all it’s beauty
But the night sky brings my own desires alive
It brings all my creative energy forward
Even if there is raging winds outside I love to listen to it howl
It sends chills down my spine
I love the night

I love the night I’m shy and there for I tend to hide Because if I’m hurt or lonely or afraid or sad
Or even just feeling bad
I will allow the shadows of the night to just wrap around me
I feel like no one can touch me or hurt me or find me
And I can be free
No one can touch me to play evil head games with my heart and soul
When I’m surrounded by the shadows of the night
I just allow those images to wrap around me tight
It feels like they are protecting me
Sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a bad way
I let the shadows cast over me
Because sometimes it helps me to think
Not even my lover realizes how much I love the night
He knows I love the sky
For some reason the night will always be my friend

But now that I’m ready to open up my heart
I’m slowly emerging from those shadows very slowly
When it feels like I’m falling in to deep
I call my lovers my name
And he is there to save me
In every way possible
I know longer have to scream out into the night
With all my might
Waiting and hoping for an answer
Going under
I almost did
Not once but twice
I had to fight to get back up
I still believe today
It was shear luck
To find the one that has saved me
In every possible way
I hope he is here to stay
He is the one who saved me

Thankyou everyone who read my work and who liked Me And The Shadows actually I gave a copy of that to my boyfriend tonight and he liked it. It made me feel so good that I can actually hand him a poem straight from my heart to his. He even read it infront of me and that made me feel very pleased indeed.
