My Heart’s Poem: Heather Logan


I want to spend my lifetime loving you,
And it’s okay with me if it’s the only thing I ever do.
Baby, my love for you is unchanging,
People rise and fall, but my feelings are so steady.

Trials and rough periods have come to play,
Crap has now come, bruised and burnt.
People ask why I love you,
And I say “it’s because he loves me for me.”

Some people say I should know better,
They say “Never give a guy the satisfaction of knowing you care for him.”
But I can’t go back,
I simply love you.

I admit, sometimes I have doubts and I have insecurities,
The days are usually okay, but nights are when the tears flow.
I continue to pull through, I continue to fight,
After all, that’s partially what love is based on.

I want to spend my lifetime loving you baby,
I give you my all and promise to stay true.

this is a great poem...it's really cool that you've found someone that you can give so much too..i had a guy like that..rejected me...but that's how it goes sometimes...i hope this works for you!
