this piece is very beautiful john...i really enjoyed the opening lines of the second stanza:

I don't care how many miles away you are
We are still looking at the same pretty stars

it's so true, no matter how many miles span, we're all still watching the same night sky! beautifully done!

Hi Blood thought I drop in read some of your work.Nice read I know what it's like to miss some one and I love that line "Were still watching the same stars" I was even in a long distance relationship before and missing someone you love sure can make you feel like your going insane. "I'm waiting by the phone I hope you call" Story of my life. I love this poem nice write beauitfully written.

once again...nice job. distance definitly is not something fun...but after i think it does more good than bad. it shows just how much you really do care for someone. i think everybody needs that distance once in a while simply for that reason.
