An Angel on Black You say you are numb, But I cannot believe it; So I ask you, when I’m dead What will you feel then? Just a void in time and space Just another missing face? What is it you want From this? You taunt Me so, with words like razors And touch like an ivy, Twisting around, Finding my gaps And testing them sound.
I can see that you’re in there, With the cracks, looking through, And I know, though you say, That this is not true. I know that you see it I know that you get it, But don’t you realize One day you’ll regret it? Maybe you don’t believe me But I see through your act, Can you see the knife That they put in my back? Is it really how you say, An angel on black? ~BV

Really cool. This one really spoke to me and caught my attention. Honestly, everything faded out as I read this. Very intoxicating with its depth and deep meaning, spellbinding and dripping with relatable truth...
