Of this dark world, was I wear,
In all the world, no one to care.
I was quietly waiting for my final end,
My hands did meet then, a reliable friend.
This friendship grew and took its turns,
It was no longer mere care and concern.
She loved me and I loved her,
And things became different from what it were.
To my darkness, she was a dawn,
It was me, she did on fawn,
Happiness to me and she did borrow,
Thorns, pain, agony and sorrow.
One day she passed through her final gate,
It was just what was accepted by Fate.
But passing away, she gifted me,
All the world, power to see.
See now I, the mountains high,
See now I, the birds doth fly,
See now I, the fishes swim,
See now I, the dawn so dim.
This world is giving me a sad end,
leaving me over with no one as friend.
Face now I, the bright world's pace,
Stand still there, missing her face...
