Hey guys, this looks like a really cool board you have here... I am not sure how active I will be though (I am failing Earth Science LOL, thats pathetic, so yeah thats a big reason) but I will do the best I can. Sorry if I babble, I can do that sometimes online. My poems may not be the best, but I don't write for the audience, I write to express myself. A bit about me... My name is Andrew, but most people call me horn or w/e you want... Make up a name for me for all I care... Well I crave independence and freedom, and I don't think I can achieve that while I still live with my parents. I am as cheap a person as you will ever meet lol... I don't have anyone I can truly call a friend (Like someone I can go to or hang out with) but I think I am a nice guy, just quiet in real life. umm, I live near Chicago, am 16 years old, currently in grade 10... I moved here from NJ in 8th grade... I want to go to the University of Illinois but at this rate thats not happening... I write poetry to express myself, thoughts, feelings, and experiences... I like sports especially, and I play soccer. I also like music, politics, and writing. I am kind of lazy too lol which I hate... I'm really boring too... Umm yeah so that's me thx guys!

Hi angel, lol thats cool... And hi kris. And so everyone knows, you can criticize my poetry constructively and also tell the truth about them. If they are bad and don't like them, tell me so, but it would be good if you have a reason too, and not just cuz you hate me lol. This is because I would like to know how I can improve and everyone's true thoughts. If you just don't like it either, for a reason you can't explain, tell me. If you tell me that you don't like one of my poems, I would be glad, not mad that you told me. Well I think I got the point across to ever read this lol. Thanks guys!

Hey, thats what this site is for. Improving your poetry. No one is going to improve if everyone is all goody goody and says they like it just so they don't hurt you...thats not the way I see it. If I like it, I show it, and if I dont, I try constructive criticism. Usually there is never a poem that I majorly don't like. For the most part there are just sections or little parts that I dont like, and thats what I give my say on. I guess you could sometimes call me harsh...but I know I would want people to be honest about my works...isn't it honesty that is whats best? See? i'm blabbing again, and its majorly off the topic...i'm a dork

nah its not off topic, I'm the one that started offtopicing  And its good to know that you guys wouldn't just say its great just for the hell of it! Without the constructive critisism, there would be no point to the site, you're right, cuz there would be no improvement. ahh I'll stfu now, I'm just repeating what was said already lol... so yeah...... |
