My house, Not just an ordinary house, It is a special house. Some people just walk by it, Some people stop and look, At the creative details, Or the original paint. Some people actually ring the doorbell. When the door opens, Some people just stand there, But some actually walk in. When they walk in, They either stop, And look from where they are, Or some take the time to wander around, And open some doors. Some people don’t even know, That there is a second floor. And some people who know of the second floor, Don’t know that the third floor exists. There is a very rare amount, Who travel the second floor, Let alone the third. Some people walk in, And go straight down to the basement. But that is all they see. They don’t see the rest of this beautiful house. I myself have opened many doors from time to time. Some doors were later found that I thought never existed. I have gone to the first, second, and third floors, Along with the basement. Many doors have yet to be found, Courage is needed for the ones afraid of opening. Some day I will be ready to explore the attic, If there is one. Feb. 12, 2004 This is one of my favorite poems...mostly because it is very deep, but it sounds so simple at the first look. It also confuses people, and I like confusing people. So kudos for you if you know what I am talking about in this poem. ~angel

Well, welcome back anyhow. Also, I apologize for the confusing manner of your password. I wish I had known it then. But, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Welcome back to PC. Good having you again.
Now, this poem as you said, truly is confusing. I wasn't sure if you were talking about your mind or a real house. It really did confuse me. However, if that was your goal then I commend you on acheiving it. Great Job, TJ

If you want me to tell you what this poem means, I can do so. I love how deep it is ...but it is kind of hard to explain, at least to explain it all because some of it I just have lack of words of how to explain it. I guess I can tell a little about myself. As of now I am 17...my real name is Megan...but shhh I like to go by angel on the internet...yes I am weird. I am probably one of the weirdest people you will ever meet...and just be like omg she is such a dork...but I dont care because "dork" is one of my nicknames. lol. I am a senior in highschool, once I graduate I will be the happiest person alive...and then boom, I will be 18 at the end of July...making me so extremely happy that I will be on top of the world. I have written over 70 poems...most of them depressing...for some reason I see that my best writes are depressing. I tried writing happy poetry, but it just turns out sappy, corny, and stupid. I write free-verse...so most of my poetry I haven't even revised...a lot of them are probably horrible, but oh well. Ya, its weird, pretty much all of my poems, I just grab a sheet of paper and pour my heart and soul into it within like 2 minutes, and its done. I also like to blab...can you tell? But ya, I don't know what else to write. So...I shall stop blabbing now. Take care and keep it sweet ~angel
