dark and torn apart i've been
wounded and broken
pounded to the earth
words have eaten at my flesh
to be beautiful, to hurt
i've stood against the time
i've stood against the waves
watched carefully the mechanical irony of everyday
as each pass by
clone after clone
told what to be, told what to see
i've fallen in their paths
i've cut the deepest
seeing the red against the grey
stand tall i've tried
my wings were torn
falling...i've fallen
i've risen from my pit
carrying still my weight
the mirrors lie about my fate
with one wing...
held closely to my dear kemleth
i've learned to see, myself
i've learned to feel
i've learned the truth, what lies within
...i am perfektion
