Yup, tried it and worked as well as any other way of meeting a nice young lady. And will try it again if the right situation happens. I met two very increadible ladies off this silly little machine... not THE one, but who knows... there are 6 1/2 billion people on this planet, why limit your choices?

i picked no opinion, because i really can't say i'm in any of those categories....i've met some really cool people who would be nice to have a relationship with, but they're so far away that it's almost not worth it...so i'm kind of in the middle about it...

No, never will try it -- again. It takes away the whole point of a relationship, you know, the relating part, the interface. Or maybe I'm just complicated this way.

yep i'm the lil' lady who found love online. we were internet friends for 4 years before we met, emails, chatting, etc. we've since been together physically for 3 years, had a daughter, lived together, had debt together and continue to laugh about it together. a few friends have been burnt assuming that our situation happens all the time online...*sigh* (might i add we never had "cyber sex", i think that upheld a sense of dignity to move forward in our relationship.) x rinna x

I have tried it and well if it's the right person on other end then you grow from it. One can realy get deep into an expression of love with a pen.

This is an interesting topic. Don't know why I didn't see it sooner..guess I was out??
I tried it once, didn't work out. You never know who your getting with. You may be supplied a picture but can never be sure it's them at all....
My last relationship was based online but led to farther things. A friend of mine met a lady online that had a very nice looking and nice mannered friend that I soon fell for in person rather than online. I talked to her nightly on the phone and then met her sometime later. We spoke for about two years and then met, we then dated for two years and were engaged. I'm not sure what we are anymore...

Yeah, very tough..almost impossible to stand..it hurts so bad to imagine life without that person since you've been with them for so long. I am crazy in love with her but she no longer loves me I suppose. That's what I call one sided romance. I will love her forever but she'll nay love me again more than likely. But, i'm moving on...... Life will get better somewhere down the road...
