Ok, I know that's kind of a weird title, but I recently found out, like today, that a good friend of mine has lukemia...please keep her in your prayers that things turn for the better. Right now if she wasn't on chemo she'd be dead. Thanks everyone!

I can't speak for everyone else, but I can for myself. Kris, this girl will be in my prayers. I believe in the power of healing and that God can heal anyone from anything. Whether it be a scratch or a terminal illness, if you believe Him for it, He will prevail in the end. Maybe it won't happen as you'd like it to, but it will happen according to His will. Prayer is not in vein, never. Prayer is the most powerful weapon to use against any form of evil.

Faith cometh by hearing. Not by sight. The purpose of this site is not to prove the existence or the none existence of a greater being. But, in situations such as this we are led to believe that a higher power is at work. The Lord said that those who seek, shall find. Those who knock shall have the door opened unto them. Prayer is our way to connect with God. Everything he says is true. We know this without a shadow of doubt. Therefore, when he says that by his stripes we are healed. Then we are healed. We have just came from Easter Holiday. A holiday promoting the charitable act from Jesus. The act of self-humility which resulted in the end of his mortal existence. Your friend will be healed if the faith is there. The Lord said that with the faith of a grain of mustard seed, we shall move mountains. I will pray for your friend with all my heart. I only hope that I am worthy enough to reach the throne of God with my request. God Bless her, and please let her know that she has unseen supporters who wish to see her well. God Bless you both and thank you for sharing your request with us.

Thanks guys, it means a lot to have your prayers on our side. I'll sure let her know that she has wonderful people praying for her health. It's kind of been eating me up all day, but now I'm going to hopefully get some sleep. Thanks again!

You're more than welcome Kris. That's what we're here for. Support, encouragement, a little picker upper. We're our friends and until this thing goes either way, we'll be here for you. My fiance's mother had breast cancer and has recently had both taken off. The doctors believed that she was eaten up by the cancer. The mammogram showed several traces of cancer root throughout her lymph nodes. But, through prayer and the fatih of her family and our church, when they went in to take it out....there was nothing but two spots which were about the size of quarters. God is a great being. He thrives on the happiness of his people. HE said in the bible that he came not to condemn the world, but that the world thorugh him might be saved. Just believe it and it'll happen. God Bless, TJ

I talked to her sister today, and her sister said that she seems to be better. But I guess the doctor said it can still go either way. Thanks again!

A good friend of mine was diagnosed with Leukemia about three years ago, and they didn't think he would make it. He needed a bone marrow transplant and there wasn't a match to be found. Well he's alive and well today with no signs of the disease anywhere.
It's amazing what a little prayer can do, you and your friend have mine.
