My question is, what religion or faith are you? If you are Christian, be more specific, tell us what denomination you are...same goes with other religions, and if you want, you can tell us a little about your religion....
I know this can be a controversial issue, however, I feel that we are all mature enough here to handle this, if not then it can be removed, but let's try.

Well,I'm Christian.Just plain Christian.I belong to no denomination, haven't been to church in years. The way I figure it,there's countless denominations, all claiming to believe in the Bible, who all have countless "interpretations" and doctrines concerning what the Bible says.I figure I have just as much of a chance at figuring it all out as anyone does.I believe God knows I'm making an honest, heartfelt effort to understand His word. You may have noticed most of my poems are religious/spiritual in nature. Take care,Todd

Pentecostal. John and I both are Pentecostal. As a matter of fact, my father is the pastor at our church. Our faith is some what different from other peoples. It can get very controversial so i'm not going to go into to much detail. However, I will say that as other religions, we love God and all others. Some people of our faith are true snobs though. They can be flat out ridiculous at times. But, we're not. We enjoy the worship of God and try and practice prayer daily.

Yes, I am Pentecostal or Apostolic, same thing for the most part. This Christian denomination is certainly one of the most controversial and has often been called the third Christian faith, as opposed to Protestants and Catholics. We believe in being filled with the Holy Ghost, and speaking in tongues as the spirit gives you utterance. No we are not snake handlers as many would like to suggest. And some people of our faith are snobs and are too self-righteous, but they are truly not spiritually healthy. Some people have went as far as to refer to us as a cult, which I think is ridiculous. This is just a breif on my religion.

I am a Pagan, though most people point to a path like Wicca or things like that within the Pagan faiths, just like Catholic with Christians.. Myself, I am what most refer to as a Base Pagan. No magick, no spells, none of that fancy ritual stuff. I worship nature as my goddess. I am more then willing to explain what i believe when asked, but only when asked. And I happily say i get along with all faiths...

I am a stanist.
I practice alot of the occult and have no belief in Karma or the Reed for that matter. I am not offiliated with the Cos, FCoS, or the Temple of Set. I go to find the truth where ever the truth can be found. I was a xtian for 16 yrs and have even gone back to it recently. But I find it difficult to believe that Jehova is a true god. I do beleive that there is a higher power, and I do believe that Jehova and Jesus did exist in the power and full embodiement spoken about in the Bible. However, there is no true way to go and find what god wants or desires out of us through the Bible. It has been edited, and butchered over the years thanks to the catholic church. I don't think there is a way to ever find a religion that works.
It isn't true that satanists sacrifice animals. It isn't true that we kill children. And we are not cannibals. All of that was more garbage thrown about by the Xtian community. We worship life, and the full fillment of it. If you are happy serving a god through servitude, more power to you. If you are happy reaching divine enlightment through self denial, go for it. But I appease the greatest god of them all, myself. Through constant understanding, patience, self gratification, and self responsability.

Oh real quick to nevermore,
So you don't practice magic or anything? Not even a more low level magic? You don't pray to anything? I am just intersted as to how the pagan faith operates with you. Do you beleive in the Wiccan Reed? Or anything of that nature? I know you said you weren't wiccan but wiccan is pretty much a new age paganism. Just wondering where you stood on the thought of gods/goddess' in nature.

Well, you do know the questions for this early in the day KG. *L* Let me see if I can explain in simple terms. Wicca, is called new age paganism by Wiccans. Base Pagans raise an eyebrow at that, but if they like that idea it is fine. No, I do not follow anything like the Wiccan Reed. I believe that we answer only to the duality of Nature. I would call the higher powere I do pray to my Goddess, simply for giving it a name. In fact this powere has no genger and all genders. When it comes to magick, the only magick I believe in is the maigick of nature. In my belief we have no right to attempt to duplicate what is already there. So no, I do not practice that or get involved in ritualist life styles. When I pray, it is like walking and talking to all things that are around me, I doubt there could be a stronger connection to life for me. I would like to comment back to your calling yourself a Satanist and the description you gave of the faith. It is nice to see you have something, a true Satanist from what I know does not affiliate with anything, so that was cool. But I am greatly offended by the use of the term xtian. I feel that changing the name of a faith is an insult to others that is unnessacary. Not being Christian, gives me no right to change what they are. I am in no means trying to give you heck for that, just stating my opinion.. Thanks for the question, I enjoy when people asl instead of assume.

Joe and Kemleth, please remember the board rules and agree to disagree. Take anything intense to PM or email please, that is if there is anything tense, just a reminder. I also agree with TH, I too love to study and understand the religions of others, even those who are the opposite of my own.

never a problem for me John... I love to know all about other faiths, it is my way of getting to know and understand people. I will gladly speak to people in pms that want to know deep things about faith, but I do not tend to debate faith with any one any where. *S*

Roman Catholic who believes that there is only a GOD or Deity over us and we only call Him/Her different names and worship Him/Her in different ways.
